Inclusive Education

Education is a fundamental human right and a crucial pathway out of poverty. In Uganda, where only 9% of children with disabilities attend school, access to inclusive education is essential. In Mukono, CHIN prioritizes inclusive early childhood and primary education, ensuring that all children, regardless of ability, learn together from the start. This approach recognizes and values each child's unique potential, promoting a supportive and diverse learning environment where every child can thrive. Additionally, CHIN integrates vocational skilling into its education programs, equipping children and youth with practical skills for self-reliance and economic empowerment. This way, CHIN provides real learning opportunities for traditionally excluded groups, laying a strong foundation for their future success.
