Justice & Human Rights
CHIN, with support from partners, advocates for human rights across central Uganda and beyond, addressing the significant challenges faced by marginalized communities. With over 1.4 million people living with disabilities in Uganda, and approximately 12.4% of the population in Mukono alone affected, access to fundamental rights such as inclusive education, healthcare, and economic opportunities is essential. CHIN’s initiatives focus on reducing inequalities and ensuring that persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups receive equitable treatment, advancing human rights and social justice in the community at the local, regional, and national levels.
